Our operating expenses include monthly honorarium and meals for our speakers, publicity and flyers, costs for our website and Zoom, mailing supplies for membership information, board insurance, special event expenses, and national dues to World Affairs Council of America. We are a working board and do not have staff so all expenses go directly for our programs and events. OWAC depends on your membership and donations to bring our speakers to Olympia. Thank you!

Donate to the OWAC scholarship fund!​

The OWAC Study Abroad Scholarship Fund grants small scholarships to local college students (SPSCC, St Martin’s, Evergreen) with plans to study abroad. Scholarships help fill the gap between when students need to pay for components (ex: passport, visa, deposits) of their study abroad experience and when they receive financial aid. Studying abroad has proven to help develop the global mindsets of young people and encourages continuous civic engagement.
