On Monday, November 14th at 4pm, we'll host a re-showing of “America’s Diplomats.” The film covers the history and role of the U.S. Foreign Service, focusing on the last decades in particular and posing issues about the effects on the service of profound changes in the international environment. It is an informative, very watchable, professional exposition on the Foreign Service; we will have a half-hour panel discussion after the viewing with two of our members who are former career Foreign Service Officers. At the Thurston Economic Development Council, 4220 6th Avenue SE, in Lacey.
