Our Goals Since 1984

• Offer monthly programs focusing on international political, economic, cultural and scientific affairs
• Have speakers to educate and entertain us, while challenging and broadening our ideas and views about current events and emerging global issues
• Provide an informal atmosphere where members share thoughts about current events and raise questions about national policies and rapidly changing international issues.

The Olympia World Affairs Council is non-profit and non-partisan, dedicated to providing a forum for many world voices and person-to-person discussions. It does not endorse positions or take specific stands on issues.

The Council meets in Olympia -- Washington's state capital, a vibrant college community, an international seaport -- a city which has become a center for many international activities.
