Monthly Meetings

All monthly meetings are on the third Thursday of the month at 7:30 P.M. at the Olympia Center, 222 Columbia St. NW, Olympia, unless otherwise noted. Changes in speakers or topics occasionally occur without notice.

February 18th, 2010. Janice Adair, Washington State Dept. of Ecology and Delegate to the Copenhagen
Climate Change Conference, will discuss the impact of the Conference on the State, the nation and the world.

March 18, 2010. Professor Turan Kayaoglu, University of Washington, will analyze the politics and culture
of Turkey.

April 11, 2010, Father Roy Bourgious will discuss "A Struggle for Justice in Latin America" at 2pm in Lecture Hall #1 at The Evergreen State University.

May 1, 2010, The Olympia World Affairs Council Annual Dinner will feature "The Cuisine and Culture of Greece" on Saturday at 5:30pm in The Worthington Center, St. Martin's University.

May 20, 2010. Jorge Madrazo, former Attorney General of Mexico and Consul of Mexico in Seattle, will
reflect on the Mexico Independence Bicenntennial in 2010 and Mexico - U.S. relations.
